eID - quick and easy
You can open your account from anywhere you like. You are identified by using your identity card and related PIN. Just like doing a card payment.
The requirements for a quick eID identification are manageable:
- Identity card with related PIN (actually supported documents are german ID card with activated online function, residence permit for non europeans oder ID-Card for europeans)
- Mobile phone with
- an NFC-chip (most modern smartphones are having one integrated)
- stable Internet connection (e.g. WiFi or LTE connection)
- Authada app (only iOS and Android). Before the start of the legitimation process you will get the possibility to download the app and further information about the app
- the possibility to receive a text message (SMS)
The identification process takes place via protected Internet connection with our partner S Markt & Mehrwert GmbH & Co. KG to the strict guidelines of data protection. No chat software is required.
The procedure for eID is simple
- Complete the online application for the current account .
- Click on the link "to identification" on the confirmation page.
- You will receive a confirmation e-mail immediately.
- You are now on the pages of our partner S Markt & Mehrwert GmbH & Co. KG. Here you can carry out the legitimation at any time (24/7).
- Choose the identification process via eID and confirm you are having one of the above listed identity card issued by a german institution
- Download the Authada app.
- Open the app on your smartphone and start the identification with your QR-Code. Note the QR-Code will be found on the home page.
- The app guide you easily and securely through this process.
- At the end of the identification process, please enter the release code you received by SMS.
- After that finally check your personal information on the homepage.
video identification - quick and easy
You can open your account from anywhere you like. You are identified face to face. Just like going to a branch. Just by video.
The requirements for a quick video identification are manageable:
- Identity card or passport
- mobile device (smartphone, tablet e.g.) with
- camera with good resolution
- stable Internet connection (e.g. WiFi or LTE)
- IDnow app (only iOS and Android). Before the start of the legitimation process you will get the possibility to download the app and further information about the app
- the possibility to receive a text message (SMS)
The video identification takes place via protected Internet connection with our partner S-Markt & Mehrwert GmbH & Co. KG according to the strict guidelines of data protection.
The procedure for video identification is simple
- You will usually receive an invitation to legitimation from us by e-mail.
- In this e-mail you will find a link to the legitimation process of our partner S-Markt & Mehrwert GmbH & Co. KG. Here you can carry out the legitimation at any time (24/7).
- Here you can choose between video legitimation or eID / eAT. The further description refers to the video legitimation.
- Please add any missing information on the next page and confirm the completeness and the terms and conditions.
- After the confirmation you will see on the next page a process number from IDnow GmbH, which is a technical partner of S-Markt & Mehrwert GmbH & Co. KG. and provides the software for the authentication process.
- Download the IDnow app and start the process by entering the IDnow process number.
- You will now be connected with an employee of S-Markt & Mehrwert GmbH & Co. KG., which guides you easily and safely through the process.
- At the end of the process you have to enter an SMS for verification.
- After that the process is completed.
Legitimation at one of our branches
Is your identity card or passport not accepted in the online legitimation process? Is your WLAN too weak for video legitimation? Then take the easy way to one of our numerous branches throughout the city.
The requirements are manageable:
- Valid identity card or passport.
- Transaction number provided to you by e-mail following the online opening.
The procedure for legitimation in one of our branches is simple
- After opening your current account online, you will receive an e-mail with a transaction number.
- Visit one of our branches within 7 days.
- You can use your new current account immediately after successful verification.
